Allie redesign preview #1 (early look) (Patreon)

It's a bit later into the month than I figured it would've been! But we finally have Allie's redesign first look! ^^

Quite a bit of a change compared to her previous look to take in. Let's tackle some changes and the whys, whats or how comes. :P

~Hairstyle~

The change to her hairstyle came along, what you actually see with the twin tails is the 2nd attempt.

Before that we tried to go with something a bit closer to her original hairstyle. She would've had a shorter hairstyle in the sense, but have two twin tails laying on her shoulders or perhaps they'd be more like pig tails?

Either way, the concept of this made her look too similar to Miki we felt like. So we decided to do two things.

(1) - We did the twin tail hairstyle seen above.

(2) - The close up image of Allie shows a different hairstyle. This is currently up for debate if we'll have this be her default hairstyle and then have her twin tails be seen when she's being more sporty? Maybe even vice versa.

The thing we're doing right now is possibly keeping both of these hairstyles or simply sticking with just one. (also pictured alongside the images, is a rough concept of her hairstyle let loose, but isn't as curly. The curly version was made to be better matching to when she puts her hair in twin tails.)

~Eye color~

We went for a blue eye color for her redesign, it  seemed like a better suiting color to match her white hair when compared with purple eyes.

There isn't much to say about this <.< we'd like to know what you all feel seems to fit better if her original purple colored eyes feels better or if blue is looking like a better match?

~Body type~

Clearly there's a lot going on here... >.>

So her bust size has been shrunk down a bit and honestly, one original thought here with her redesign was to make her more of a short stack character. She's meant to be 5'6, which isn't quite short compared to other characters. (Nova and Rosa are 5'7, Miki being 5'2)

One thing that bothered me with her original design was her legs felt really awkward looking? It felt like someone only did leg day at the gym their whole life <.< Which to a point is what I wanted to show off, is that Allie has a history of doing legwork much like Nova has.

But there's a difference between body builder muscles and the more lighter toned muscle.

Overall I think comparing the two gives you all a better idea than I can attempt to put into words. The point is my original envision of Allie before there was a sprite at all, was that she could be more seen as a pipsqueak-ekes character when paired up next to Nova and Rosa. (That doesn't say she isn't strong in her own way against them)
