Virtu isn’t a hedge fund. It’s an HFT/market maker, was a prop firm now listed and does other stuff. Made headlines for 1400+ days without a loss when they listed. Flash boys era. If you fund startups you aren’t a hedge fund, you’re an angel/vc, maybe pe with wide mandate.
