Monthlyish Report: June 17th, 2022 (Patreon)

Alright, so this one will probably be pretty quick; now that a variety of life circumstances have passed and I'm significantly less stressed out in general, I can fiiiiinally get back to work proper on Helixftr stuff.

The problem there becomes, I'm pretty torn on where to go from here. There are a few things I want to try personally, but it seems like the thing that the majority of folks on my discord have suggested, or wanted, is to go and finish Juniper.

The unfortunate part is that I don't really like where Juniper was heading- she was kind of a huge mishmash of ideas, and looking at her now I really want to redraw her, apply some of the new things I've learned, and so on.

Not to mention a few of the ideas I originally had with her don't... really seem like they'd work in the first place.

So since folks really want her, I think what I'll do is probably start over instead of trying to salvage the mess I left myself with, with a better focus. I'll also probably try to keep things simple and spread from there, rather than kind of have numerous different branches at once that now confuse me.

I'm not sure if I'll keep her AV focused as I once did but I do think that it'll still be included since that would feel cheap to remove it entirely. We'll see.

I'll try to get her redrawn and spruced up in the coming week and I'll get my ideas for her sorted then as well.
