Photo ID now required for Patreon might move to Gumroad (Patreon)

Hey, darklings and starlings,

I am really thinking of switching my subscriptions to my art to Gumroad and doing a subscription through them instead, this last shady email is kind of the last draw for me with this site.

I just don't want to lose my supporters and I honestly think it's really sketchy on both sides after all these years to ask for a photo ID.

If I need ID to sell then ID should also be provided by the clients, so I know it's safe for them to buy my products as well and that's why its shady because they clearly don't care if kids are buying our products as well right?... fair is fair if it was actually about that and not about covering their ass so they don't get sued for all the rampant cp on this site.

We're required to verify that all creators sharing sexually explicit content or content that includes nudity are at least 18 years old.
