Fairy FINDR progress report #2 (Patreon)

Hey there, I hope you're going well!

As many know, I've been full steam on making this first release the best it can be. I'd like to share the progress made since the beginning of this month.

Firstly, if you haven't read it, here's the previous progress report

Clothing

I've developed all the code for handing clothing. Clothing will appear as sets during swiping, so that mis-matched accessories such as green dresses with pink gloves won't happen. This can be adjusted to your preference however by using Pixie Points, explained below. I've basically only drawn a few sets of clothing so far so I can finish the animation, and then I will return and draw more clothing after that!

I've re-written the code for how the scene works, so that I'll be able to provide more variation to movement and dialog with each encounter. This was required as I now need to keep the fairy head and body on both sides, along with the fairy that flies underneath, in sync and not talk over each other.

The Phonebook - Keep track, level up and revisit your favorite Fae

I've completed the phonebook code in the game. This screen keeps track of all fairies you have successfully played with. From here, you can revisit them, each time they will earn more experience. Ideas for using experience include letting you finish inside them or they do more moves once they have levelled up enough. There is also unique dialog from them if they haven't visited you for a while. There's a handful of dialog they will say to you when they are re-called. You are also able to re-dress them other than how you met them, with:

The Wardrobe - Dress your fairies

As you play the game, you'll earn "Pixie Points" that will allow you to customize what  your fairy is wearing. Dress, gloves and socks, shoes, piercings, eyeshadow, hats, necklace, headwear and facewear are all selectable. Anything the fairy can put on. I don't want to allow the body or physical attributes to change with Pixie Points, because I think that breaks the immersion of the fairy existing, and also breaks the swiping part of the game. And yes, there are arrows in both directions! Haha...

Fairy Sharing

I have found a solution to how you'll be able to share fairies with each other -- When your fairy levels up enough, you'll be able to rename and modify your fairies a little more through the wardrobe. At that point, you'll be able to enter your Patreon name into a box and upload your character to my website. You will then receive the fairies phone number, which users can then use to download them into their phonebook! Originally I had planned some type of seeded number, but the data that makes up the fairy has become far too large for it. Using my website as a bit of a hub to upload/download characters makes a lot of sense to me.

With this idea, I can also share 'top pick' fairy numbers that can be used in the game, to get characters such as Shantae into your phonebook.

I have started work on making 'rare' or 'top pick' fairies, that you will have a % chance of meeting during swiping. So far the rare fairies are Tinkerbell, Shantae, Zelda and Anthro Glaceon. Some of these may use the phone number only for access, but if you're reading this, you'll get those numbers when the time comes.

Animation

The main parts of the animation have been worked on. The fairies currently schlick on the edge of the knob, do a wiggle and pull up on it, and lay down and rub their body/boobs on it. Checkout the provided video attached a the bottom of this post to see how it currently looks -- But please remember these aren't near final, no sound effects, wet effects, and facial animations etc. do not exist.

Voice Acting

In my adventure to tweak the game to be more appealing to a slightly wider audience (Don't worry it's still niche i'm sure), I've had PixieWillow and SultryLamp do some additional lines for the game. I decided i needed more 'Hornier' dialog and also the need for actual insertion was brought up by a few patreons. The dialog is for the 'Limit Break' feature I added to Helluva Hound and would like to add here, and dialog around vaginal insertion. I also didn't have any dialog for interaction reactions written, so I've got them now. If you're interested to read it, all the new dialog is listed here.

Unfortunately LaLaLexxi has become too busy with commercial work, so her voice acting has been scrapped, and I have chosen ScarletVA to replace her. Her audition can be found attached to the bottom of this post!

'Cum Inside' Variations

As shown above, there will be two different endings for finishing inside, which will be a preference before the game begins. I know some people like the idea of stretching out the fairies using magic, others find the idea not appealing. I will be providing both endings to please both people. The dialog will remain mostly the same, as the fairies enjoy either option, and it does not hurt them.

There is also a planned ending 'finish outside' that will cover both fairies below and above in a shower instead. 🧚‍♀️

Release Schedule

July will involve getting a lot of the lip-sync done, and the 'finishing' animations. I can't guarantee the game will be done by then, but I really hope it will be. I'd estimate a month left of work left to do, but that may mean I'll be cutting it close to the end of July.

Honestly, this game is a passion project and I know it's not for everyone. But I can't thank you all enough to give me this opportunity to make something this close to my heart.

I've been constantly working on ideas on how this game can be more attractive to a wider audience. I think adding guest characters like Glaceon, Shantae, Zelda and Goblin skin modes certainly help. I can almost guarantee the first version, that only has the fairies at their shortest height, will not be for everyone, but I hope you'll stick with me when I get to making the 'Shortstack Magic' update after this first release. And I'm hoping the way the fairies giggle and rub on you will still be attractive and fun!
