A slight change in direction (Patreon)

Hey guys,

Apologies for my absence, I figured it's about time I let folks know what’s going on.

I'm sure this will be a disappointment to many but I've come to the decision that I won't be making those big 1min-2min animations any more. Not for the foreseeable future at least or unless someone wants to dump a ton of money on me or something! Simply put, I just don't really enjoy making them and trying to muster up the drive and energy to spend weeks/months working on a single animation is just something that I'm no longer willing or capable to do any more.

Over the summer my mental and physical health took a serious dive so I stepped away from animation to try and recover a bit. This wasn't just affecting the work I do as Patchyeah but my regular IRL work as well. This break gave me a chance to think about my priorities and how best to spend my time with a focus on my well-being. Turns out sitting in front of a computer stressing for weeks on end as I push keyframes around a timeline is not particularly healthy for me and it's not how I want to be spending the majority of my time any more.

I don't want to stop creating stuff though, so moving forward I'd like to try and focus more on illustrations and comics with the occasional animated pin up or short scene that won't take forever to complete. Smaller and much more manageable pieces.

I know that this isn't what anyone really subscribed to my Patreon for so I expect a fair few people will want to unsubscribe which is completely understandable. All I can say is thank you and I'm sorry I couldn't do more. 

For those who stick around, I don't want to go making promises that I may not be able to keep (depression is kind of unpredictable like that) but I will try my best to keep creating dumb lewd nonsense for you guys. If things do start to slide away again I'll be sure let everyone know and put Patreon on pause again.

Anyway, I shall keep Patreon paused from taking payments for the start of December but you should hopefully start to see more stuff from me coming soon!
