WIP - Style Tests (Patreon)

I'm trying loads of new methods with this next animation. It's only  going to be a shortish animation but I wanted to take the opportunity to  experiment a bit. Having just gotten a proper new tablet I wanted to  try and incorporate more hand drawn elements. 

While I think the backgrounds look kinda nice, I've found however that hand drawn/painted characters actually complicate my process significantly since bitmaps and textures are not  as easy to morph as the vectors I usually use.

But I'm slowly figuring out a combination of bitmap/textures that kinda works. Also properly layering the backgrounds can allow for some really nice compositing effects. Check out the attachment to see a test render!
