LOL...I'll explain the Dick Cheney/Ted Kennedy T-Shirt..."I would rather hunt with Dick Chaney"...Dick Cheney, besides being the Vice President, is famous for shooting someone in the face/neck/chest with buckshot while they were hunting..."Then to ride with Ted Kennedy"...Ted Kennedy was a Senator (yes related to JFK) and was pretty much an alcoholic and womanizer. He ended up crashing his car and killing his female passenger while drunk driving. So basically the shirt is saying that they'll live if they hunt with Cheney but will die if they ride in a car driven by Kennedy. BTW...Cha Eunwoo's new drama just started. It has two episodes so far. It's called "A Good Day to be a Dog". Really cute supernatural romance premise. Just say'n...😉

OH I loved this so much !!!!!! and yeah my bad buddy tattoo was a very impulsive decision but I got it done at the same time as another tattoo so not too crazy 😧 I'm so happy you're enjoying this series!! and after episode three there actually is a music video for the song they previewed in this episode! (just friends) ! you guys wondered who Korn is - he's the guy with the ponytail and strong eyebrows from Pat's crew 😭 it'll be so fun to see you react to my school president later as it actually takes place in the same universe as bad buddy !!! super fun , the actors from msp have small cameos in different parts of this series !! ^^

I'm not well versed in Thai, but from what I do know, there's gendered ways to talk and write, so you can basically tell if something is written by a "male" or a "female". So correct me if I'm wrong but when I saw the episode, I assumed Pran's note was written in a more "neutral" way (or feminine for that case), that's why Pat assumed it was written by a woman, while Pat's note was written in a way you could tell it was a note from a guy.

I think were to assume was the handwriting. Pat mentions how pretty "her" handwriting is so I think he assumed that it was a girl based on that. At least that was what I always took it for, but I also don't know much of the Thai language. I have watched enough that I notice sometimes with the translations on some shows it will go back and forth on the masculine and feminine pronouns.

Yeah, I think it's a mixture of both haha Pran does have very pretty handwriting haha I can't relate, my handwriting looks alien haha

Just to help you out, yes it was the hand writing that gave them ideas on whether it was a girl or a guy, but there are also articles in the Thai language that designate male or female similar to Spanish. I myself am not Thai so I can't explain it very well but I hope that helps. Also they did give you Prans side of the story in the first episode, it was right after they told Pats. Pran's mom said that Pats dad (and family) are cheaters. He said Pat's dad blamed Pran's dad for his own failures, and that Pat's dad was involved with bid-rigging in order to kick Pran's dad out of the competition.

Rewatching this with you guys is really fun. I had a small obsession with this show when it was airing and watched it too many times. I've finally gone long enough without watching it though that I can watch it again, perfect timing XD. (also, I'm not super well versed in the Thai language so I'm not sure exactly how to explain it, but I believe Pran knew that the note was from a man because he wrote Khab/krab which is the particle used by men. Just to answer your question at the beginning of the video, GMMTV is a varey big company for TV shows in Thailand. While mostly known for their BL's, they do have alot of non-BL shows ( The Gifted and Homeschool being two of my favorts). There are other companies such as DomundiTV (who produced Cutie Pie, Why R U?, and Bed Friends), Studio Wabi Sabi (who produced Until We Meet Again, Between Us, and Love By Chance), and a new company Be On Cloud (who produced Kinnporsche). Just to name some of the bigger companies.

this is like my 3rd rewatch of this show and I am now recognizing so many actors in this show. For the people who know, why did I never realize Dunk was in this show for like a brief second?!? And like almost all of the My School President cast?!? GMMTV really uses what they've got.

Yeah I think pat used the particle "Krap" in his messages that is used by only men whereas women use "ka" But I dont know if it is the same for prans messages. Knowing pat he would def just assume it is a girl by handwriting. Also not well versed in thai but that's what I assume.

It is such a ride rewatching this and getting all the feelings I did when I first watched it. When you finish the series with the iconic theme instrumental its going to feel so good. Also this is probably an unpopular opinion that nobody asked for but im gonna say it anyways lol. You have probably heard a million times that Kinnporsche is 100% on the spice scale. But I just wanted to preface that since this is a mafia drama, the relationships are very toxic and it touches on many sensitive topics. It could be a hard watch at times. Of course, this is expected but I thought it is important to note. Im not the biggest fan of this show as it isnt quite to my taste. But I mainly had issues with how some people reacted to the show by romanticizing abuse. However, I have not completed the show fully and am open to discussion and differing opinions. I think its just an issue of perspective. It is still a very interesting show, just for mature audiences. I will still watch it with you when you watch it (Because you most certainly will lol). Im also pretty picky with shows I watch tbh. Someone in the last comment section mentioned that bls often have annoying troupes. These can just be cringe-worthy like when they try to serenade their lover...only few can pull this off. Other times I will throw myself into a wall. This is also a joke in the fandom lol. But there are also many problematic troupes as well. Im glad to say the majority of the shows you've been recommended do not include these. For those interested I'm mainly talking "Tharntype" vibes. Again sorry for the essay. I dont have a lot of outlets to talk about this stuff and if you are going to watch more bls I think its good to learn some more of the culture and views surrounding them.

Loved your reaction, hyped for more episodes! Bad Buddy is definitely one of my favourites along with Not Me, The Eclipse, A Tale of A 1000 stars, and I Told Sunset About You. I see many people recommend KinnPorsche, which I understand the hype, but I dropped it as I found it too intense and toxic (and I usually don't mind). I would much rather recommend Not Me which is more about politics, mystery and romance and way more interesting as well as sweet. The plot is incredible and the chemistry from the main cast is really something. Of course, it's up to you guys to decide when the time comes, but as someone mentioned before, watching a trailer to see what intrigues you would probably be the best idea :)

I am soo excited you guys are watching Bad Buddy you don't even know haha. It is my favourite Thai BL especially because of the chemistry between the male leads, Ohm (Pat) and Nanon (Pran). I don't want to say too much because I tend to spoiler things so yeah just enjoy the ride of those two "rivals". This brings back so many memories when I first watched it so thanks!!

yeah no I don't think I would ever recommend Tharntype to anybody to watch. you kinda just discover that show on your own and just fight your way through, that's what happened for me. I do love Don't Say No, however (which is in the same universe, but NOT AT ALL as toxic)

Loving your reactions! I've been watching you guys for a few years and always hoped you'd react to Thai bls one day and you are so yay!! This is like my 6th time rewatching it and it's making me very excited for my trip to Thailand! Also random but the guy in that seaweed commercial is Win, he was in the bl 2gether. It was my first bl and very popular at the time. It has a special place in my heart being my first but i know a lot of people don't love it. Not totally sure why I'm mentioning this but I am lol.

GMMTV the production company that made Bad Buddy and a lot of other Thai series does let you react to their shows you just have to fill out a Google Doc form. I would ask for the link from popular BL reactors like ReactionsByJavi, Kent Clark, Titos of the World, Alyxzander Rae, and Psynergic. I don't have the link otherwise I would give it to you. Once filled out they will approve it and you'll be able to upload the reaction to YouTube without cuts and edits. Edits while watching: Pran knows the person writing the notes is male because Pat used Khap (the male particle) instead of the Kha (the female particle) after his thank you in the note. So it would be like Pat used he instead of she in his writing so that's why Pran knows Pat (the note writer) is male.

Don't Say No is one of my Top BLs. JaFirst is one of my favorite ships...and though their journey during TharnType 2 is important in the development of their story, you can still enjoy it without watching it. I just hope that Just Say Yes (Leon & Pob's story) gets released.
