Like HOME;RUN corresponds to Left & Right, Fearless corresponds with Fear. I am thankful for S.Coups for writing Kidult during his hiatus, which has become a special song for CARATs. I recommend watching SEVENTEEN’s TMA 2020 performance. Their performances of Kidult, Fallin Flower Korean version, and Fearless are so so good. The choreography for Fearless is a chef’s kiss, and the vocals for Kidult, especially DK and Seungkwan gives me goosebumps and has me smiling. As S.Coups has said in an interview Heng:garae is an album, which encourages the people in their youth who have worked hard to achieve their dreams after facing their fears, which was shown in SEVENTEEN’s An Ode Album. For Semicolon it is spin-off of Heng:area. The message for Semicolon is Take a break from all the fast paced lifestyle trough the Semicolon. As youth tries to fit in with the busy modern lifestyle and as we and SEVENTEEN, continue to live our lives in youth SEVENTEEN included their thoughts and concerns with the amazing music and contents in the album. If Run to You is an Anime Op, then Together would be an Anime Ending theme song. Too bad Run to You and Together did not end up becoming Anime OP & ED since SEVENTEEN, especially Woozi are huge Anime nerds/Otaku. For me the funny part about Heng:garae and Semicolon is when SEVENTEEN made Carats make our own albums, so as of now Carats are Rappers, Singers, Dancers, and sogo drummers thanks to SEVENTEEN’s fan chants, and Carats are also now producers because Carats had to put the Heng:garae album together and decorated ourselves. SEVENTEEN gave Carats a weaving kit with the Semicolon album, and they also included a recording kit with the Attaca album. It is so much fun being a Carat and to stan SEVENTEEN. SEVENTEEN are hilarious, and I love them. I recommend watching SEVENTEEN’s commentary for the albums, if you would like to learn more about Heng:garae and Semicolon. Woozi and Buzmu together are both geniuses when it comes to songwriting and producing. I love and enjoy the storytelling within the albums SEVENTEEN portray and tell. I love Heng:garae so much! The title means tossing someone up in the air in celebration (what they did in 'Left and Right' MV). The overall theme of this EP is the growth, finding your path and celebrating it alongside the ones you love. Regarding the track list, it totally makes sense if you know the meaning of each song: 1. Fearless - very confident opening, an antithesis to 'Fear'. It even has the same Jeonghan's lines! It’s an intentional contrast to previous album 'An Ode', which has feelings of uncertainty and concerns for the future. 2. Left and Right - encourages to just go for it in life, without too much concern, saying "it's ok to not be doing your best" 3. I Wish - lyrics talk about their feelings which are not reciprocated by the person they love. But I think we can also interpret it as 'feeling of uncertainty while growing up' 4. My My - takes you on an adventure of self-discovery, a journey in pursuit of your dream 5. Kidult - my favorite! Comfort song describing the feeling of growing up, saying "it's ok to cry like a child and to encounter mistakes, you do not have to change who you are". (it becomes more meaningful when you realize that S.Coups wrote this song during his hiatus). 6. Together - also my favorite! Another comfort song but more exciting. It encourages you to move forward. Some things in life may go as not planned, but Seventeen will be there by your side. Sorry for this long comment. I just love this EP and it means so much to me) If I remember correctly, this was their first million-seller and it's totally understandable. Heng:garae gave so much comfort to Carats during the pandemic.

Fearless and Kidult honestly are top tier seventeen songs, and on semi colon Light a flame and All my love sooo good. Recommend watching performances for all these songs!!!

Also I wanna add that in Do Re Mi when Vernon says “Mi Re Do” it also sounds similar to the Korean 미래도 (miraedo) meaning “future too” ! So since the verse before is “you define the world” it kind of becomes “you define the world and future too”

Do Re Mi, Heavens Cloud, and Kidult are my favorite seventeen songs just everything about them gives comfort and happiness. I can listen to them any time and just feel good and happy.

Kidults is one of my fav SVT songs. Also "I Wish" reminds me of OST songs too haha. I like DoReMi too. I had first come across it in a show named Amazing Saturday and really liked it. (Amazing Saturday is a Korean entertainment show where they play a song and the cast guesses the lyrics to it, if you get it you get to eat yummy food, else a mukbanger eats it in front of them, and they have 3 chances per songa. Seventeen has an old relationship with them lol. They and their songs have also appeared there.) And I like how Semicolon has a song per liner (95,96,97,98+99)
