State of AdorkaStock - 2023 Wrap Up! (Patreon)

I wanted to take a few minutes today to reflect on the year even though it's not quiiiiite over yet.  😌

This was a bit of a rough one for me. It was my second year as an LLC which is still a bit of a learning curve, especially financially. As many of you probably also experienced inflation hit pretty hard this year causing increased costs to overrun a lot of well laid plans. While costs have gone up income has gone a bit down. Going into 2024 I'm restructuring some of my financial obligations to hopefully give myself a little more breathing room.

I was only able to add two new models this year when I originally hoped for 5. 😞 Some of this was delays in networking, but a lot of it was discomfort with my close financial margins.

On the flip side, Null-Entity and I were able to finally make the horrible but amazing Fancy Foot Book! 🦶🏻✨ And together we raised over $1500 in June for LGBTQIA+ orgs with the sales of the Pride Pack. 🥳 I released 10 new Themed Packs and 24 new Video References. I also archived my DeviantArt gallery and started moving everything to my own site, slowly building functionality to try and make it as useful as possible (thanks for your patience with this!). The Sketch App also continues to grow and improve (I hope!).

Looking at 2024 I've set the following goals for myself:

- 3 New Models (currently networking for a martial arts trained model, motorcycle rider, and someone 55+)
- Return of a few models for new shoots (Queen Amethyst in the spring hopefully!)
- A New Card Deck or Print Book (male poses? couple/romance? dynamic action poses? What would you like the most?)
- Restocking the Handy Hand Book! (It *just* sold out this past week ahhhh)
- Group shoot collab with Null-Entity, JadeMacalla, ThePoseArchives, PirateLotus-Stock, and anyone else we can drag in

That last one is a big one! Surprise! Ever since the last group shoot in... what was it 2018? Null-Entity has been ON ME to plan another one. 🤣 This would be a pretty big undertaking which includes a lot of international travel so we'd definitely be doing a crowdfunding project for this, most likely on BackerKit.

I'm in the process or doing some reorg of my finances as mentioned which includes dropping the contract with my previous social media management company in the spring. I do not yet have a plan set up for replacing them so it's possible that I will be back to being on my own for a while. Some of you might wonder: how is Sarah literally everywhere all the time? Well, that's how. I've had a LOT of help the past three years!!

Fingers crossed I will have something new in place by April/May and I can get started on setting this big project up. In the meantime if you notice a drop off in my socials/sharing please be patient. It's going to be a big adjustment for me; your comments, interactions and shares will be even more meaningful to help me reach more artists. ♥

I guess that's about everything! 2023 was challenging and I learned a lot and got a little humbled. 😅 Hoping the adjustments I make moving into into the new year will help get me on the right track!
