WE'VE BEEN WORKING! Main channel upload THIS MONTH (Patreon)

My assistant Yap Chung Shing and I are working hard on STARBARIANS stuff - he's doing an amazing job animating and I am helping while grinding out comic pages...

Big comic announcement arriving on the main channel this month!

Here is a new shot from STARBARIANS 4 by Yap Chung Shing. He roughed, timed, animated and coloured the shot by himself, based on voice acting and a quick character design by me (below).

This new purple alien heckler's design lead to me redesigning another heckler that we've just started animating now -- because you can't have TWO purple alien hecklers!

Old (BUSTED) design on the right - not the same shade of purple but close enough.

And below are some rough animations I passed over to Yap to clean up/inbetween and colour.

MEANWHILE I am locking in a colourist to help on the comic. That's meant doing lots of these universal coloring guides in print-friendly CMYK colours.... I guess I had to decide that Hogstrong has ORANGE eyes -- who knew??

I am now focusing on black and white pages as I think I've found my colourist (more on that soon). 1 page per day if I can manage!

Yap and I are just two people and I need to be able to fund a lot more assistants to create the volume of work that I know viewers want (several good shorts per year, not one every twelve months!).

This is how a large scale animated series happen.
