"It's so good to see your SMILING FACE!", this line is slightly funnier in the animatic because of the way it's drawn xD Awesome work Harry, loved this one, already showed it to my friends who are Resident Evil fans.

Yes - I agree. Her original model was actually angrier looking and was softened after we shot the live action segments to look more like Atlantis, our live action model/actress. I do regret not going back in to work on that shot but time didn't allow for endless tweaks.

Thanks for sharing, this was really fun to see. Ghost Bleed is so good! Makes me laugh the second it starts with the fucking Hanna-Barbera splat sound xD

Hey Sam! Basically all motion tweens! For example, I have a floor only texture that stretches and a ceiling only texture that squashes, that creates a feeling of vertical movement. As a camera moves you see more or less of each 3D plane, so by stretching or squashing those planes you can create the feeling of 3D movement.

I think the final Naomi costume was more suitable for a Resident Evil parody.

Great, thanks Jesse. It didn't change a whole lot, but putting the word "Police" down her arm really helped I think :)

I really enjoyed this, I got a soft spot for Resident Evil and this was a fun parody. How long where you working on this?

Hoolopee and I started discussing it in June/July, but we really started for real in August/September.

I thought it would have been longer this came out relatively fast! If I may ask a 2nd question what was your favourite part to work on?

The live action was fun but stressful, it rained, lights broke, the puppet ghost didn't work the way we had hoped. Probably the most enjoyable part was getting back scenes from Hoolopee that I had created in animatic form and seeing them in 3D. He was able to animate so fast, it was like magic seeing them come to life. Hearing Ockeroids music was great too - lots of fun all around.

Gotta say I was completely delighted by every "low-res texture" joke. Rita's name on the computer, your smiling face, etc. I've never seen that gag done before. I may be wrong, but I feel like the way the typical animation/game asset pipeline is set up, it's surprisingly hard to have a character make a joke about how stuff around them actually looks. This whole thing was really impressively directed.

Thank you Will! We knew from the start it was going to have a chunky PS1 look and even planned out some gags that didn't make the cut such as mirrors that don't reflect etc.
