*pipes leaking and alarm bells ringing* greetings denizens of lewdlemage dot com...

fear not- i live, i'm just still cleaning up the animation so that's what im doin today! the plan rn is ill post the actual animate-y bits tonight and then ill touch it up with a background and stuff later. ill prolly be done before the 2nd but just in case im movin the stream over to the 4th!

lookin ahead tho, the animation poll is returnin this month! ill put up the submissions post prolly tomorrow once i finish everythin, the idea with the polls now is that like before the top 2 get animations, but I'll just be doing the smaller 2nd place animation this month, and then next month I'll do the 1st place winner to spread the workload out a bit.

other than that, once the stream is done ill move onto drawin lucy and milim. and then its back to my various other little projects like camilla and smauggie etc etc.

Great update, and I really don't want to pry, but... Is there a special reason this Yamato animation has been plaguing you since September? I sincerely hope future animations don't take this much out of you :( Regardless, very excited to finally see it!

NO!!! you do this to me everytime, when I get lucky to get a day off that happens to be the day of your stream you postspone it. snif snif...snif snif...LOAD nose blowing. although I'm happy to see things will be returning to normal can't wait to see what this month will bring.

Okay so like, for some context, it's not as if I've been actively working on it since then. I basically shelved it for most of that because during October I just had some health issues, and then during November I was mostly focused on the comic. And by December there's a mounting pressure building, because this has happened to me before with the Samus animation, and I'm getting in my own head with it and mentally I'm avoiding it. Plus there's always the factor of needing to do more sketches, streams, etc. And because of the aforementioned health stuff, I can't really pull all-nighters to save myself like I used to, lol. So it's been an ongoing process to kind of learn to how to schedule myself better. So yeah it's a combination of bad scheduling and an unlucky confluence of IRL events. And in fact I think I probably wasn't able to finish it during September originally because I was traveling around that time. Mea culpa, I was pretty careful to try and clear my schedule this week to just finish it up cleanly and be done with it, hence the bit of radio silence. BUT then February only has 28 days lmao. Is what it is, don't worry about me I really am doing fine it's just this month's hiccup in the greater context of how I've been the past year feels worse (which is frustrating personally but I'm just movin forward lol.) My bad. *does a fortnite dance*

Hmmmm. I'm a little worried Lewdlemage. Are you sure you want to return to the animations pool? Yamato 's animation seems to take you so much effort, we don't want you to end up exhausted! In my opinion, your sketches are more than enough (and I think that more than one animation per month is an excessive effort). But if you think you have enough energy and motivation to do it, you can go for it (but take it easy, ok?).
