*is wearing a santa hat* Welcome friends, to a very festive month at Noodle's Workshop! Not only is it time for non-denominational winter festivities... But it's also the 1st year anniversary of the Patreon! Pretty crazy honestly!! My year hasn't been super great for a lot of reasons, but this Patreon has honestly made things way easier for me and family and I am super grateful for that! Thank you all so much! I really do appreciate it.

If I can analyze my own performance a bit, while I think I have improved overall in a lot of ways, I feel like lately I haven't been up to my own standard animation-wise! I feel like the monthly animation is getting longer and longer but the quality is starting to suffer a little? Which is my own fault, I think I'm overextending a little with the time I have each month! Idk how you folks feel, but I wanna be a bit more focused with the size of the animation this month and have it be the length of something like the 1st Android 21 animation or the Godzilla animation, so I can polish it a bit more and have time for actual voice acting! As well as fit more sketches in! We shall see, I'm rambling but lemme know what you think!

Schedule-wise, I'm still reworking the Lami comic a bit, I'll aim to have that done this weekend! Once again since I wasn't able to get it done last month I'll just post it all publicly as soon as pages are done, so don't feel obligated to stick around if that's what you were waiting for!  In the meanwhile I'll also just do some little sketches! A quick lipsynch test is also on my mind...

Regardless, thank you all again for being so kind and patient! I really owe you all a lot, so I will continue to do my best to make that good tum content! Talk to you all again soon!

HIYAH! *rides off in a sleigh*

Please no voice acting...

Yeah, you might wanna cut back on the animation lengths. At least until you reach a point where you can bring another animator into the fold. It is a tad bit noticeable when looking back at them all that the longer ones sometimes don't have as much polish as the smaller ones. Not to say that they are bad, not at all. But, like you said, just not as much polish. It also seems that you've been struggling to balance doing a comic on top of the sketches and animations. Maybe each month you could try alternating between doing a smaller animation and one page of a comic? Maybe even have the comic be black and white and have someone else color it? Hard to give good advice on this as I don't know your animation or comic process.

2021-07-10 21:18:25 As someone who tends to get a bit overambitious considering the tight deadlines he places on himself, I feel ya totally. I would love to do more, but unless I hire Studio Trigger, I'll have to be more sensible what I can do (no one places pressure on me but myself). You should definitely do the same (although it's easy to say such a thing and then forget when you get an idea for an hour long animation >_> ) Either way, I hope the next year is better than the last, and that all works out well for the future. Happy holidays!
