[A] MERLION COMFORTS WARY LISTENER AFTER A LONG DAY

It’s been a long, exhausting day. After experiencing a rejection and feeling heartbroken, you arrive home and all you want to do is either cry or go to sleep. You choose the latter, as some time ago, you learned a special ability. You are able to enter the dream realm in a lucid state, create the realm’s features, and manipulate time. On this day, you escape into your peaceful island-on-a-lake realm to interact with your beloved merlion companion, who listens, comforts, and gives you sage counsel. All the while, the creature gives you reassurance and reminds you that you ARE worthy of love!

[B] A MOONLIT PIZZA PARTY WITH THE WEREWOLF SISTERS

The werewolf sisters, Penny and Nickel, run their own small business. They sell werewolf merch on TikTok, and have received a sponsorship from a pizza company. Tonight, they are aiming to “kill two birds with one stone.” They will promote the pizza company’s “lunar pizza” while showing their own new merch (shirts, caps, motor gear). As their good friend, you have volunteered to model the merch. The evening starts off with you putting on the gear and them creating the advertisement (which involves eating pizza). Afterwards, you all get a little tipsy, enjoy each other’s company, and finish off all 5 large pizzas! 

[C] WORKING FOR A (NOT SO?) EVIL OVERLORD, CADENZA THE THIRD

You are a famous and well-travelled adventurer, and today is not your lucky day. You have been captured(!!) and brought to the throne room of Cadenza the Third. Both she and her late father have quite the reputation – rumours of assassinations, abductions, and torture abound. Given your worldly experience, the “evil” Cadenza wants to recruit you as her adviser, and tries to threaten you into doing the job. However, her façade breaks when the heel of her shoe accidentally snaps… that’s when you discover that she is, in fact, just a huge softy who needs to uphold an evil reputation…

[D] ONE LAST DAY WITH YOUR KITSUNE NPC GIRLFRIEND

The life immersion fantasy game* you love is being shut down due to losing a number of lawsuits. You decide to enter the game one more time before this happens, and spend a day with your kitsune NPC girlfriend. The NPCs are very advanced due to the deep learning models they have been trained on. They know your preferences and act and speak like real people. As this is your last day together, you spend all your remaining game tokens on fun and romantic experiences: hunting giant geese, eating magical meals, watching a musical performance, and cuddling together on a boat ride. 

*life immersion fantasy game – think NerveGear in SAO, which allows full-dive tech that links to the brain and nervous system, making the game experience feel “real.”

[E] ROMANTIC EVENING IN A HONEYMOON SUITE (MERLION FIANCÉE + LISTENER)

You and your dominant, confident merlion fiancée Akoya are both wanted criminals, on the run with a briefcase containing a large sum of $$. You are in the wasteland of Lost Valley, holed up in a honeymoon suite in Niko Starlight Resort. It is dinnertime, and you and Akoya are celebrating Potato Festival with a bowl of potato ramen and ouzo. You drink to the success of your latest scam, and talk about how Akoya freed you from a mobster boss by using her gift of the gab. You then discuss possible wedding venues, before being interrupted by a merfolk maid at the door – you have won a surprise in the hotel’s raffle!
