The League of Super Evil Rascals has received important intel: a high-profile meeting will occur in a remote forest between the Mega Corp ARES, and an Anti-Mutant terrorist group known as The Common Man. 

This serves as a rare opportunity for the League to kidnap a member of the ARES Corp, as the ransom of such an individual is sure to fetch a pretty penny. 

The supervillain agents assigned to this mission are The Vexatious Viper and Gateway Gal. 

However, things do not go according to plan, and Vex is faced with the most difficult decision of her life...

Character Backgrounds

VALENTINA VIBORA (The Vexatious Viper): Valentina was once a promising scientist working in the pharmaceutical arm of the ARES corporation. She was driven to a life of villainy after she was framed for an accident caused by her superior’s lack of implementation of protocol. She threw in her lot with the League of Super Evil Rascals (LOSER) in the hopes that the villains in the organization would help her achieve her goal of vengeance against her former employer. Unfortunately, this has not been the case, as petty squabbles between members have resulted in the lack of palpable results and caused a sense of loneliness in her.

In the previous year however, she was visited by a rival hero, the Red Ranger. In a surprising act of kindness, he gifted her with turkey and friendly company, despite the risks for his own safety. While this has not dissuaded Valentina from her current path of villainy, it has at least caused her to be fond of the Red Ranger. Where before she had nothing to look forward to except the day she exacts vengeance on her previous boss, now she anticipates the occasional (and secret) communiques from Henry.

Abilities:

Wears a custom-made suit that can launch all kinds of debilitating venoms and chemicals she herself formulated.

HENRY FLETCHER (The Red Ranger): Henry is a Hero in the Global Hero Association. He is part of the ‘Mercy’ faction in the Association, a vocal minority that advocates for showing compassion towards villains, believing they can change. He has shown kindness to many villains, one of which is Valentina. Unfortunately, his actions have not born much visible fruit. Proof, the ‘Justice’ faction claims, that it is a weak and ineffective approach.

Still, he refuses to give up. For if villains are given no hope for redemption, if no one takes the first step to believe that they can be better, what else can those treading the path of villainy look forward to other than hatred and scorn? 

Abilities:

Superhuman agility and reflexes, supplemented with quick wits and a technologically advanced bow. 

MICHELLE FREEMAN (Gateway Gal): Michelle Freeman is a current member of the League of Super Evil Rascals, using her portals as a form of transportation and escape for her fellow members. She was serving prison time for a failed bank robbery when her powers manifested. At the time, she was staring at a postcard, and wished she could escape the prison and visit the beautiful place pictured in it. It was then when she discovered that she could create dimensional gates, from her location to anywhere in the world she could imagine.

Gateway is terrified of going back to prison. She fears the feeling of losing her freedom again and will do anything to avoid capture. If it looks like that an operation is failing, she is always the first to suggest escape. This has caused her to have a reputation of being a coward among the league. But she argues that discretion is the better point of valor. Why risk capture when you can always retreat, re-plan, and retry?

Abilities:

She is able to make gates from her location to wherever she wishes to go. She can make gates even to places she has never been as long as she has seen pictures of it. She always carries a camera with her and takes pictures wherever she goes in case she needs to gate back there later.
