Here is a relaxing, guided journey to help you wind down. 

Join me at an open lake, where you can watch the stars and release any tension you are holding onto. 

This meditation is done in my natural voice and accent. I am dropping all characters and acting to express what is most genuine: the desire for you to experience BE-ing with yourself in complete presence and relaxation. 

Replaying imagined or real stressful scenarios in the mind creates a somatic response, as does replaying thoughts and images that generate states of surrender and letting go. 

The mind likes having something to do, and it is often on autopilot or protective mode, possibly creating a personal, skewed version of reality. To return to neutrality and to have a buffer for the events you face daily, it is helpful to train the mind and body, through meditation and movement.

Often we are so busy running away - from ourselves, from what is occurring, and from what we think is not good enough. There's the not there yet, the future goals, and the grasping and the endless chase. 

The true reality lies within experiencing each present moment, and what you decide to do for yourself and others there. 

Ultimately, you cannot escape yourself. This guided journey is a tool to help you experience yourself from a more expansive and compassionate, neutral state. It is mind-body training: if you choose to practice the exercises in this recording a few times, you may even come up with a key word or a few key sentences that immediately bring you into the expansive state near the end of the meditation. It is a type of self hypnosis, and is great if you just need a few seconds to centre yourself throughout the day. 

Even what first appears to be insurmountable may have a solution present if you are in a different frame of mind. I am sending you peace and I wish, with all my heart, that you collect and utilise tools and mindsets that allow you to live presently, pleasantly, and in joy.
