Hello loves! 🌿💌

This audio concludes the series, which we have been working on since early 2019. Thank you to everyone who has followed along (or listened to a part of the story here and there) in the shoes of Ironheart, a warrior who was the sole survivor of a terrible battle upon the Sea of Blood.

Many thanks to Damon Ares, who wrote the scripts, developed the extensive lore, helped with the voiceovers, and designed some of the sound effects in this audio drama. He's also incredibly patient and sent me audio files to teach me how to say all the names, spells and words from the lore book.

Ironheart, Dojja and Vidori will now continue their adventures "off-screen" (or off-mic). Hopefully their futures are bright!

The story ends somewhat differently depending on the choice Ironheart makes at the very end of The Ranian Warrior X: Race to the Fulcrum

In the first ending (Lay Down Arms), Ironheart intervenes when the gardfae attacks Vidori. In this second ending, Ironheart chooses not to intervene:

While you try to convince Vidori to see sense, Dojja manages to bring the gardfae to your location.  Cornered, panicked, and desperate, Vidori takes the Memorial in her grasp.  Provoked, a gardfae warrior brandishes her weapon and lurches forward to remove the arm that had seized the artifact.

You decide not to intervene...

Glossary of Terms:

SITHAR — /’She-θer/(shee-ther) — Sithari are an intelligent species of wildcat found across western and central Oseilos that stands about three feet at the shoulder. It is all black, save for a white star-shaped pattern that extends from its throat to its chest. They have the unique ability to mimic human speech — though not very well (Sithar speech is something like a cross between human language and cat warbling). For a time, prison wardens across Oseilos and neighboring kingdoms would keep a tame Sithar on-premises in the hopes that, should it hear any prisoners plotting to escape, it would parrot their words back to the warden. This experiment didn’t see much success.

VITENIA — /Vih-teh-’nee-uh/ — A kingdom in the northern steppe of Urvomas, known for having an entire second military composed entirely of mages (known as the Armagya) trained in the various forms of symmancy. The nobility of the kingdom invests a huge amount of resources into ensuring that any with an aptitude for symmancy in their kingdom can get training without cost — provided they serve in the Armagya for at least five years.

The kingdom of Vitenia, east of the Horizon mountains and west of the former Siregrad territories.
