Neya’s background:

Neya is a Silican. She has a light blue skin, long pointy ears, and a tail of flesh. Neya’s family was killed by Captain Ohm. She was forced to join his crew. Otherwise, he would have taken her life. She acted like a tsundere so she could stay alive. She didn’t want to do it, but she had to act tough so she could make Ohm happy.

Neya first met Varkas when Ohm threatened to kill Varkas’ younger brother Joseph if Varkas didn’t join his crew. Joseph is still alive, but went ‘missing’ for his own safety.

Neya is a gentle soul, but she is also tough and stands up for herself. When angered, she isn’t afraid to get into a fight. Like most of Galveria’s citizens, she is an atheist. Few Galverians believe in a goddess named Artiona, the Motherly Goddess of Nature and Life. Artiona is rumored to be one of the caretakers of Solar and Lunar, the first Lost Builders (The Greats). She learned of The Greats’ true name, 'The Lost Builders,' from an ancient ruin she discovered thanks to Varkas’ knowledge of ancient history.

Where she comes from, “we are all cogs in a machine” is an old saying which describes how everyone works together to achieve a common goal.

Lore

Silicans are a steampunk species. They operate mostly in the skies.

Silicans are believed to have evolved from large rodents. However, their true history is unknown as biological science isn’t a huge part of Silican society.

Humans are popular to the Silicans. Silicans learned the English language from the first humans who came into Galveria. The first humans were from the British Isles; this explains the Silicans’ accents.

A majority of Galveria has been misplaced/transported.

Silicans have waged trade wars. These are real wars during which merchant factions fight one another in combat. Then, the Great Icarus War came and changed the way Silicans lived.
