AGATHA! Dame Agatha Christie was a British novelist. Her books were and are so popular that she's credited with being the best-selling fictional author in history, having flogged 2 billion books. Primarily known for her characters Hercule Poirot and Jane Marple, Christie's works concern murder mysteries with increasingly bizarre plots. She's always been a staple in my family's viewing and reading, to the point that I've always seen her stories as sort of puzzles that a person could potentially figure out as they go along. I'm re-evaluating this - some of them are utterly ridiculous.

Love Agatha Christie! Her house ‘greenway’ is a national trust property about 3 minutes from where I used to live, it’s got really interesting history of her inside. On your note about Kenneth Branagh, a nice tie in with your Shakespeare pod, I have had the ick from him ever since we were made to ‘review’ the film adaptation of Henry V in GCSEs. He wrote the screenplay, directed, and made himself the lead role.. it just doesn’t sit right.. Fine to be a supporting role, but the Henry V film seemed to just be a vehicle to get himself monologuing on screen for 2 hours. And the Poirot movies feel the same. Produces, Directs, and then gives himself the main role? STAHP Much love

The adaptation of "and then there were none" that immediately came to mind was the family guy one 😄 Also.. googled and then there were none and clicked on the Wikipedia to check it was the right one.. got a hell of a shock from the original title And when talking about Agatha Christie's disappearance I immediately thought of the Dr Who episode with the wasp... maybe I need to consume the source material rather than getting info from tv shows 😄
