Paranormal Activity is an American found-footage horror franchise that managed to do the seemingly impossible after an absolute slew of shite was released following the explosion of The Blair Witch Project. It took a style of filmmaking that felt like it was a one-time, lightning-in-a-bottle, could-never-work-again moment and turned it on its arse. Like most horror franchises they squeezed every last drop out of the concept and dumped it in the toilet, so I'm only covering the first 3 movies in this pod. Expect heavy spoilers.
