THE GERRRLS ARE HEEERRE! Nova and I just returned from a whirlwind experience at RuPaul's DragCon 2023 which was held this past weekend at the London ExCel Centre. It was such an intense experience so grab a bev and let's get into it.

I opened this pod with the song "The Fear" by Lily Allen and immediately forgot to explain why. When I get super bored on long car drives to London, this song inevitably gets sung out loud as a means to pass the time because it's the only song we all know the words to, so there it is.

Finally gotten around to listen to this episode, and i got to say, i was soo thrilled to visit you both. We came around on friday in boy makeup and then saturday in full drag. You both were so wonderful and I look forward to see your booth next year! <3

Hi Sexpot. Just adding my voice to those clamouring for a pod on The Traitors. You may already have seen this, but there is a series called Killer Camp that is deffo worth checking out. The contestants/victims believe they are going to be part of a Love Island-type show based at an American summer camp, but it is soon revealed that one of them is having the others picked off via the psychotic camp handyman and the others have to figure out who it is. There are lots of ideas that have since been used in The Traitors, but the standout bit of nonsense for me is the gory set-pieces that detail how each camper is murdered - one involved a well endowed piece of statuary! It's a hoot and you can watch it for free on ITVx.

Regarding the queen who you couldn’t identify, I’ve been through Instagram to see if I could find her from how you described her and the only queens I could find are, Pythia from Canadas drag race S2 and Juicy Kutoure from Holland S2 but I don’t think it’s either of them 😂

I will be another person to say "please do a podcast about The Traitors"! I started watching it the first week it aired and became that annoying person at work who would bang on about it every day and try to get people to watch it. Nobody caught the hype right away but lo and behold, everyone binges it over the Christmas break and once we're back at work they're all telling me they wish they had watched it sooner! Not just the best reality TV show in years, but some of the best TV in years full stop. I was literally on the edge of my seat during the fire pit section of the finale! Would love to hear all your opinions in a dedicated podcast episode 🖤

The haunted mansion idea for next year’s stall is fire🔥 Seems so natural for you guys. you could even make it a ‘legendary creature’ type supernatural vibe so Nova’s colourful fairy sex-sprite (lol) aesthetic doesn’t seem out of place!

I'm so shocked we got any content from you this week! I was exhausted from a day and a half at drag con, can't even imagine how you felt by the end! It was so lovely to meet you (I've said it a few times now sorry 🙈) but it's just so nice when you finally meet people you have followed for years and they turn out to be genuinely lovely in person! My boyfriend enjoyed shouting catch phrases at you all day and it kept him occupied thinking of more 🤣 You all made our weekend and it was so fun chatting with you Autumn, char and roxy 💖 and a haunted mansion booth sounds amazing! I can't wait to see it next year 😍 Luthers blanket is in the post so it should be with you soon xx

Thank you for the insight on Drag Con and YES! Do a haunted house booth! Have Autumn climb out of the TV-Set! ^^ So excited to have my wish come true with the Bedknobs and Broomsticks episode! I‘m curious to hear how it is preceived around the world and if you have intell on the weird German version 😅 I would love to return the favor, sending you a German snackbox with some specialties because I believe you get the common stuff everywhere. Hi Lymp, wonderful stuff as always! Very glad you ended up having a good time at drag con. Twas lovely meeting you, I was the one that came to you very early on during the first day while the pink carpet was going on (didn't know half the people walking it anyway 😂). Shoutout to icon Pauline who I met outside the convention for giving me her spare ticket so I could chat with the gerls. Apologies once again for yelling "TURBOT" at you as you entered the building. Much love to you both and I still think that t shirt is extremely dumb which is why I HAD to have it, I can now live out my calling as a regular suburban chick. Merry January!
