It's all of a sudden... September. I can vividly recall our New Year's dinner at the house and feel like it was only 2 weeks ago which means in the absolute BLINK of an eye, the Novympia spooky season of the year will be upon us. I've suddenly gone into overdrive - we've started buying new decorations and I'm putting all our plans into action to deliver a memorable October for the cult.

Also defo think the drag horror movie is a great idea. Realise scripted stuff is way more work but I think it’s defo something a lotta people would love to see.

I LOVE HALLOWEEN!! I used to put on my glasses grab my cane, yes Kandy Kane lol, and just go stand in random places. I have enough usable sight to tell if someone gets close, and just scare the poo out of passers by. Us VIP are a wicked bunch. But never get a group of us together or bad badness will be afoot. Anyways, we used to own a black artificial christnas tree, we decorated it with red led lights and I found these amazing wood burned oak machetes with all of the horror characters faces etched into them like ghost face, Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, and Jason Voorhees. we found red gift wrap and would wrap boxes but make it look tattered and torn with manikin hands trying to punch through the paper or fake eyes looking through the holes in the box and the gift wrap. It was really awesome and fun to do. And then we got a cat and then we got a dog and they like to eat the artificial tree and tear up the gift wrap. But that was my fave spooky decoration. Now we go to haunted places that offer overnight ghost tours. My favorite was the trans Allegheny lunatic Asylum and West Virginia. I have some pictures on my Facebook that I caught from there. And I have an amazingly funny story involving my husband, repercussions of eating beans, and a bunch of people running up the stairs to see if that sound was really a ghost!❤️❤️

Would recommend keeping an eye on TK Maxx's and Pretty Little Party shop's websites, for Halloween stuff. Also look on eBay for carnival and circus bits. Some weird old funfair props that might work for you

I’m the same way with my decorating prowess, I love having the decorations up as long as possible, especially if I’ve spent money on them! This year, my friend and I are attempting a costume duo: she’ll be the town crier from Nightmare Before Christmas and I’ll be the town crier from Corpse Bride! It’ll be great fun to scare the kiddies by screaming “In other news, THE DEAD WALK THE EARTH!!” 🤣

Great pod as always! I love hearing about other people's dreams, it's fascinating how the mind works! I had a spinal stroke 5 years ago and I'm now paralysed chest down, when I'm dreaming I'm up walking and then I realise I shouldn't be and I just go "whoops" and go and sit down, I love how I'm so chilled about it and there's no drama 🤣 I'm so excited to see what you do this Halloween! Your short horror last year was so good 🖤
