...and it's a Full Of Beeerff starring No Kiss, No-va.

Clue is a 1985 American black comedy yarn based on the board game Cluedo, starring an immaculate ensemble cast including Elieen Brennan and Madeline Kahn. If you've never seen it before then strap yourself in and give it a good go because it informs the 50% of my dialect that isn't already inspired by Kath & Kim.

Is it a beef? I think it could be beef! Always love a pod with you both. I have you two to thank for introducing me to Clue, watched it a couple months ago and immediately went to introduce it to my friends. My fav peacock moment is near the end when the Jehovah’s Witness knocks on the door and asks if they’d considered opening their hearts to Jesus Christ and she just replies ……”whaaat?” and slams the door. Brilliant. Speaking of I was thinking Catherine O’ Hara as Peacock and then you said it. Would be friggin iconic, even if potentially too similar to the original. Random Catherine O Hara fact I found out yesterday btw. She has Situs Inversus, the condition where your internal organs are flipped inside the body. Anyway just as a general comment I’ve been spending a lot of time back at my parents this past month after my dads had a quintuple heart bypass. Thanks for keeping me sane. My mums name is Jackie and after we did your last pub quiz together I had to explain about Rescue Mediums to her. Now my dad has taken to saying “Elp me Jackie” when he needs to sit up out of bed, bless em. Thanks for keeping us all laughing, love you both 💖

With regards to the reboot film, Im not that bothered because I think a lot of modern films are shite anyway, but Knives Out was so good and so popular that I think it IS possible, I just worry that in the casting its all going to be popular person of the moment young actors, one of the great things about the original is how old fashioned and dusty most of them are

Watched Clue for the first time after your reference video and fell in love with it instantly. My fan casting would be Toni Collette as Mrs. White, Ana de Armas as Yvette and Willem Dafoe as Mr. Green, I'm still not sure about the rest.

Olympia in my left ear and Nova in my right ear….. oh no ladies…. Please no…… Anyway apart from that a great piece of Beef!! Listening to on my home after my second day of ten weeks of full on training for my new promotion and this is what I need after what feels like my brain has just been shoved with a crap tonne of information! Love you as always girls!!! ❤️❤️

I remember discovering Clue years ago and as you’ve said, it’s a perfect feel good rainy day film! I’m not sure if you mentioned it but another little nod in the movie is that any time the characters move through a hall or doorway they constantly squeeze against each other and trip over. This is because in the game, player pieces cannot move past other pieces/occupied spaces. It’s honesty those little touches that make the film so amazing when you watch it again knowing that! Much love as always🔎

Long time fan, recent Patreon subscriber. Another fabulous episode! I look forward to every episode of the pod and always listen to it immediately if I notice the notification. There's so much backdated content to listen to now! I look forward to marathoning 'Full of It' during lonely nights, just so I may hear the voice of another. I've just been watching a YouTube reaction video on an American 'reality' show (always a shitstorm/ gold mine) called 'Adults Adopting Adults' and it is.. wild. There's a storyline about a straight couple who try to adopt an 18 year old girl, and there's a general vibe that the husband wants to try it on with the girl they've just adopted- anyway, I paused that video and rushed to this comments section because I'd love to listen to you bitch about it. Also, has Nova seen Pokemon's Generation 9 announcement? The other starters are great, but Quaxly can promptly get in the bin.

Just read that Adults Adopting Adults was such a dumpster fire they cancelled it after 3 episodes. That husband's also apparently a massive racist, so that's fun.

First time I had my AirPods in both ears and it scared me. It was like Nova was standing to my left and Olympia was standing on my right. I keep looking around to see if they were behind me

What a delightful pod! (As usual) I completely agree with all of these castings and feel the need to comment on the lady Gaga debate. Whilst I am a complete little monster, I have to agree with Olympia on this one, she is extremely serious about everything she does. I do think she has fun with stuff and definitely jokes around but is also serious to the point of hilarity, almost on a Madonna level (but not a total twat). Have you seen the clip of Gaga saying she got drunk on prop wine?…truly wild.

Hey girls! Great pod! One of my all time favorite movies! It's one of those movies that anytime I see it I have to stop and watch it no matter where it is in the runtime! Long live Tim Curry and honestly the entire original cast but Tim Curry is the absolute best no matter what he's in! I do love the idea of the different endings, I know it didn't work out at the time but I think that is so clever! My dream recast skews slightly older but whatever… Mrs Peacock- Joan Cusack Miss Scarlet-Jennifer Coolidge Mrs White- Catherine O'Hara Prof Plum- Vince Vaughn Mr Green-Brendon Fraser Col Mustard- Brad Pitt Yvette-Natalie Dormer Wadsworth-Oscar Isaac Mr Body-Henry Cavill

Agree, she's dead serious. There's that interview or whatever where she's talking about herself being a method actor and all that "fully committing herself to the art on a cellular level" thing and how she's deeply "entrenched in those immersive experiences". She's not taking the piss in the slightest.

Not to self: don’t listen to Full of It while getting tattooed. I kept laughing and making myself look insane I feel like Jon Hamm would be great in a Clue remake. When he does comedy, he’s great. As well as Kathryn Hahn
