A YouTube video popped up the other day featuring the below bird talking about something called 'adoptables'. While Nova tried to explain what the sweet fucking hell was going on in the video to me, I had other designs. I immediately suggested that she stop talking and that we instead spend the afternoon on a joint pod with her trying to explain everything 'furry' to me. Didn't go well.

Hiya gals, what a topic for the pod this week & always happy to hear Nova join. My partner actually used to work for a well known 5 star hotel chain that hosted an official convention for furries and said that they are mostly very nice people just a bit socially awkward. He used to work in the gym so when he told me I imagined all these elaborately costumed characters working out and going for a swim but alas they were not allowed to wear them in the pool for health and safety reasons. The convention events were pretty PG but it was a way for them to meet each other and then of course as they were staying in a hotel the sex stuff was happening up in the rooms in private. According to him they would just walk around the 5 star hotel in the full suits amongst the other guests which would raise a few eyebrows. I'm definitely not a kink shamer either so I say leave them to it, unless people are into dressing as babies then that shiz is just wrong on so many levels.

Don’t suppose anyone read comments on old pods but I’m still catching up after joining last month! I had a friend from my old boys school (now a trans woman) who I went up north to catch up with a few years ago. I stepped out of the station and got a text from her saying she was on the way to the hospital. She was a furry and used to experiment with Bad Dragon sex toys which are giant animalistic dildos. Basically she’d tried one right before coming to meet me, as you do, and injured herself, bless her. She was fine and I Iook back at it now and have a laugh thinking about it. Each to their own! As my mum would say “takes all kinds to make a world!”
