NOVA'S PUB QUIZ - TONIGHT! (Patreon)

WELL, I don't mind telling you that I am eagerly anticipating Nova's first quiz night. We'll be posting the private YouTube live link shortly before 9pm GMT and all you need to do is come along with your notes app/pen & paper/bev.

If you haven't done a pub quiz with us before - it's all multimedia so we're talking movie clips, music etc.

We'll explain the format of the quiz before we get started but providing you keep a record of your answers, all you have to do is send them over to us in a DM to the novympiapatreon insta or in a private message on Patreon. There'll be a break after the quiz has finished to get your answers over to us.

As usual teams will be permitted but only single players are eligible to win the prize - a NOVYMPIA T-SHIRT!!

We might have some Novympia alumni playing along as well.

It has really been one of the worst days, so when I got ur notification about the pub quiz I was like thank God! Novympia cult defeating the mundane drudgery. Xx

This has really come at a good time for me. I'm a Nurse and I've been Nursing my fiancé, who had developed an abcess (not a typical area). He had been on antibiotics but was not improving after 72 hours and the abcess had tripled in size, so I took him to A&E. I wasn't allowed in due to covid, so missed him terribly. I stood outside for an hour in the cold watching him through the window. Long story short, the doctor who assessed him called me and told me I had saved his life by monitoring his vital signs and bringing him in when I did. He was rushed straight to a ward at 01:00am and by 8am this morning he was in general surgery under general anaesthetic having the abcess incised and drained. The doctors said that, even though he is 27 years old, if I had left him for even 1 day longer, he would have definitely developed sepsis and could have potentially died. He's doing really well now but he requires surgery again on Monday to remove the packing and debride the wound. He has to stay in hospital until then. So I'm sat alone at home worried sick, cannot see him, cannot do anything. As his partner and as a Nurse myself, I feel helpless and like utter and absolute shit. This quiz will help me not cry myself to sleep tonight. Thank you so much, from Hannah/bumblescrums. Xxx
