The Addams Family is a fictional household that sprung into public consciousness when its original comic-strip format was worked into a sitcom in the 60s. Following the success of the show, it spawned (most famously) 2 live-action movies in '91 and '93. It's something that's always been on my peripheral but seems to me to not hold its rightful place in popular culture, so let's get into it as part of spooky pod season.

Listening to you converse with Bart was one of the cutest and silliest things I've heard all week! Both Carolyn Jones and Anjelica Huston both do a banging job of portraying Morticia, however I feel that Carolyn really captured Morticias hauting elegance a little more....So looking forward to listening in on Halloween! John Astin is by far my fave Gomez though, although Raul Julia definitely resembles the cartoon Gomez a hell of a lot more. Speaking of spooky ladies I actually have some of Elvira's Movie Macabre on DVD which I managed to find on Ebay, it's s shame there isn't a way to watch Vampira though..if you have Amazon Prime there are also some channels you can subscribe to that have some Elvira movie specials!
