More musings about teenage obsessions which lasted longer than a person should admit. This week it's the US J-horror remake The Ring, which I didn't stop forcing on people for about 10 years.

The Ring is my equivalent of what Blair Witch is for you. I remember being completely obsessed with not just the film itself, but all the lore that surrounds it. All the subtle messages and nuances throughout were fascinating to me. I will never forget the moment when the well appears on the TV, and you see her hand appear on the edge 😧 The VHS tape effects will always be so nostalgic too
