THE NOVYMPIA KAHOOT QUIZ Tomorrow 21/02/19 (Patreon)

After a strong round of Discord quizzing which saw the crowning of 3 different winners, it was decided that the existing format for the quiz was unfair because of internet speeds giving people an advantage. Tomorrow night sees the first Discord quiz in conjunction with Kahoot!

At 9pm GMT, Olympia will be hosting a voice chat in the Discord to prepare the game and answer any queries relating to Kahoot! The quiz is open to all patrons. If you have not joined the Discord chat then there is an email which will have been sent to you when you signed up. You do not have to have a microphone, disclose any personal information or be required to chat in order to take part in the quiz.

Before the quiz begins, you will be required to use a device to input the Novympia Quiz room code on the Kahoot! app or website (kahoot.it). When the game starts, your device will display 4 boxes which correspond to the 4 potential answers. You play by either reading the questions and multiple choice answers in the discord chat or by listening to Olympia reading the questions aloud in the VC. Your device will not display the question or answers. If you are using only a mobile device then it is possible to listen to the VC while using the Kahoot! app simultaneously. The faster you correctly answer the question, the more points you will be awarded.

Since this has the potential to award points to everyone who gets the answer correct rather than just the first few people who can type the fastest, chances are that Nath will not be successful in defending his title.
