Maid Cafe - Visual Novel (Patreon)

Hello everyone,

It's time to put our thinking caps on, and to start coming up with ideas for our new diaper themed maid cafe game!

To start us off I'd like to share with you my initial idea:

We will begin the game with the you, (the protagonist) getting a job at the maid cafe and discovering its unique choice in "costume" for the maids to wear. As with most visual novels, there will be characters you will be able to romance, but also who you can persuade/encourage/blackmail? into wearing diapers full time. Initially I think the maid outfit will be quite subtle, but as the game progresses, it will get much more infantile and embarrasing.

I'd like to include elements for everyones taste, so depending on whether you want to be forced to wear diapers at the cafe, or you are happy to wear them at all times, there will be options for all of you to enjoy. Also, I will try to make it as flexbile as possible so that however you identify, you should be able to find options to represent yourself.

During the game I would like there to be different customers/guests at the cafe who will be enjoying the services offered by the maids. What will these services be? That I still need to develop, but as an example I was thining that a guest might tip you more if you were to join them for their meal, perhaps in a highchair? 

Money and time managment will play a big part of the storyline too, so you might need those extra tips, or change a shift with another maid in order to achieve different goals.

I'm busily writing story element down at the moment, but I would love to hear from those of my patreons who might have ideas on where the game could go and/or characters they would like to meet in the game.

Maybe one big reason for your character to need money is new to town and only place cheap enough to live is a apartment with a Landlord who wants her Money and if you don't pay up, she regresses you for each day/week you don't pay. Landlord possibly being a Older Witch (though you don't entirely know for sure until later on, PC only knowing that the ppl in town are weary of her). Said regression also may have you obviously act more babyish in the cafe also, which could lower standing w some and raise with others. Too much and possible game over where you're her new regressed baby and the Landlord lord inviting a new tenant and tells them about a Maid Cafe they could work at for money. Also a possible option you can do other than paying her is possibly regress her also, by making certain friends and getting certain items to reverse any regression spell back on her. Or possibly meeting a mutual agreement to pay half the rent but be babied by her when you get home.

My initial idea was to have your character arriving in a new town/country with the goal of travelling and staying in hostels etc, only to get robbed immendiatly of all their money and items. They then wander into the Cafe looking for help and are offered a job with lodging until they get back on their feet. Of course they have to pay rent and for food, so saving is going to take some time, and they might have to do the job with no other option, even if they have to wear some odd costumes. ^_^ Also I like the idea of some regression and how that affects your relationship with customer and also other maids perhaps!
