I'm so sorry but I didn't manage to finish update Version 1.1 of Emerald Dawn. 🙇🙇

Currently, I'm about halfway through the CGs (11/30). Even after delaying October and November rewards, 3 weeks simply isn't enough to go over all of Emerald Dawn unfortunately. My rendering technique is also evolving a little bit, which makes the drawing process even longer (I do love the outcome though! ^^)

So, change of plans. No updated calendar for now because it's hard to pin exact dates for these:

  • Emerald Dawn version 1.1 is delayed
  • Will work on Oct rewards soon and hopefully finish it this month (winners are Nerissa & Micaiah)
  • November rewards will be pushed to January 2024
  • December 2023 rewards will be paused so I can catch up more easily

I've been grinding a lot, but I really need to take a break. Gonna chill for a few days, spend time with the family and recover creative energy. All the good stuff. I'll be back soon though because I don't want to interrupt my grind for too long because it's so easy for me to regress and rust.

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy the holidays. In the meantime, I hope you like the illustration to celebrate Emerald Dawn's anniversary. Byleth x Rhea truly gives me life 💚

This is just...Incredible. Hi Sendo! Been a while, huh? First of all, about Emerald Dawn, it's totally fine. With all your other works of art and personal matters you may be taking care of, it's only natural that you'd need more time for your projects. Rome wasn't built in a day after all. Just take as much time as you need and keep cooking. It'll be ready when it's ready. And now, thank you so much for this image! It's absolutely amazing! Rhea looks so sexy in that pose, sitting on Byleth's lap and the look she's giving him, not to mention the heels, my God...it's a miracle that Byleth isn't already indulging himself in her breasts xD. Love the way you drew Byleth too btw, definitely has the physique of an ex-merc. Gotta say, I'm surprised you didn't do a Christmas-themed image instead (don't worry though, I already took care of that in a recent comm. I did; what can I say? Byleth/Rhea gives me life too). Excellent work Sendo! Looking forward to seeing whatever your next piece is!

Great Rhea work as always. I must admit, though, I have been disappointed to see the postponement of the Loki quickfic and of the Emerald Dawn update, but I understand that you have other things to take care of first. With that said, and I say this with no malice, but I think that with your history of delays and missed deadlines, it would be best to keep us in the dark about any expected completion dates. You should probably use those personally to have a timeframe, but when they are finished, we'll all just see it as a happy and unexpected surprise.

I appreciate your honesty, Seva. That's what I originally planned to do: just drop the finished game without announcing/hyping it (kinda like how I did it in the original Emerald Dawn release) I guess I wanted to act/look like professional by setting up deadlines and meeting them, obviously that didn't work out. It really did help me get back to the grind, although it would have been infinitely better if I finished stuff on time. I'm learning a lot from all of this and I assure you I'm taking your comment to heart. As you said, I'll keep deadlines to myself for now and only announce stuff when they're ready/close to completion. Thanks for your comment!

WOW. Absolutely superb work. The whole thing is amazing and has this hard-to-describe feeling about it. It's so sexual, romantic, loving, teasing, lustful, beautiful. Just so many different feelings! The way that Rhea is COMPLETELY undressed except for the heels that she's clearly playing with, and how Byleth just has his shirt off. It's amazing! It's such a tease! I don't know how he's holding back. I love how you've hidden a lot of Rhea's nudity but you're still teasing it in the hair-down version, where her boobs are CLEARLY out and they're big, but the nipples are still hidden. And with the way her posture is, and how she's crossing her legs, that's all hidden too. Something about the tease of it all is honestly better than just sex. And then obviously, if you want full boobage, you've got the version with her boobs out in all their wonderful glory. The way you've drawn them here is lovely, they've got such a nice heft to them and it makes Rhea look exceptionally womanly, especially when combined with her lovely facial expression. And I LOVE the contrast between their body types. Rhea is super soft and feminine in the best way (but still fit), whereas Byleth has a very toned physique that isn't overly muscular. That contrast her soft body and his hard body is just sexy as all hell. And I love the way they're looking at each other. They're obviously into each other, but the way she's sitting on his lap and looking into his eyes (with him gazing back) feels so wholesome and sexually charged at the same time. Beautiful artwork. The two look madly in love in the best way. The emotional vibes I'm getting from this piece are PERFECT. One of your best works. Enjoy your break, and have a happy holiday season!!!

I call it wholesome sensuality, where there's this overwhelming display of affection without getting too explicit while leaving something to the imagination for the viewer.It's hard to put into words haha I'm quite proud of this piece because I managed to evoke some of that.
