The detail in the closeup always amazing me. The threading and even the lighting casting shadow on the skin below is impressive to me

Textures are something I overlooked for a very long time when I was learning. Small details often go unnoticed first time around but will keep drawing you back to a picture and surprising you. This character was the first time I thought of using a blush overlay on the ears in addition to the face.
