*UPDATE 2* - Okay, I just had confirmation from another patron that the reconnecting fix below worked. (It even added him to other servers the Patreon Discord bot should have automatically added them to already.)

So some people in my Discord server lost their roles out of the blue today. I think they're iOS users so I already checked this new box in the settings:

But the roles weren't reapplied by the Patreon bot, tsk, so maybe people could try reconnecting/rejoining the server through Patreon to get their respective roles back. Found these instructions in the FAQs:
