Johnny WIP (Patreon)

Just wanted to try the solid inks style on character refs, and I remembered I haven't done present time Johnny's ref yet. Ended looking a tad more polished than I wanted zoomed out in full body like this, compared to the more close up view in the last comics strips with Mits and Sho. (I liked how the brush texture was noticeable there.)

I'll probs try to make it an increment more stylized/simplified shapes for comics, 'cause I may have gotten a bit obsessive again with the details and put down more lines than necessary. Tsk I just want something maybe like a mid range between this line art here and the simplicity of Disney 2d character designs.
