Collab with Absofacto (Patreon)

Hello everyone! I'd like to tell you all a bit about the recent collab that I've been mentioning. I'm working with the musician Absofacto and creative director Allen Chiu on a music video for Absofacto's upcoming single Someone Else's Dream.

I was approached back in late May by Allen and offered the opportunity to work on this.  The song was a total banger, Allen and Abso were both fond of my animation style from my nsfw works and this looked like a great opportunity to work on an animation project that isn't hentai for once so I took the offer.

I've been working on this a bunch over the last month and will continue to work on it in preparation for the release later this month. Unfortunately I can't actually share the song yet (for obvious reasons), so the animation has no audio. However, I would still like to show you some of the progress so far, so I've attached the rough animation to this post if you're interested in taking a look.

The premise of the song and MV is a girl with an extremely active imagination who is dissatisfied with her day to day life and feels like a side character in someone else's dream (hence the title). The MV aims to juxtapose the character's dreams and reality and blur the line between them through surreal and dreamlike imagery. It also aims to show that the character's dreams may not always turn out to be the ideal experience that she imagines them to be.

I'm looking forward to sharing more updates on this in the coming weeks and take you all along on this exciting, new endeavor.
