Animated Short - Revised Animatic (Patreon)

At last, an update on the animated short for the first time since December. Well I spent some time this month thinking about the direction that I want to take this animation and after re-watching the animatic several dozen times, I've come to the conclusion that I hate it.

Firstly, I wanted to address the issue of quality. I felt that some of the scenes were sloppy and that I am capable of making scenes that are much more dynamic, interesting, and pleasing to look at.

Furthermore, after watching some animated shorts from my contemporaries, I'd come to realize that something was missing - namely a introduction, to both set the scene and to introduce the character.

So in order to make this animation something that I can be a lot more proud of, I have removed some scenes, edited some scenes, an added several more. It's still not perfect by any means but I think I've made some large improvements, and I will try to continue adding improvements where I can as I work on this animation for the next several weeks.

I'm excited to continue working on this and I hope you are all just as excited to see how it will turn out.
