I'd make these little distinctions between the more "human-thinking" monsters. Like the one there, or another of her subspecies that likes to wear sun glasses cause she thinks they make her look badass. Or hell, another just drawing on her hair/helmet/thingy. Maybe even a few slight physical differences, like height, thinness and so on. I mean all we ever see is exact copies of the pocket monsters when it's within a single subspecies.  Why not change it up a bit for the ones who are closer to humans in characteristics.
