Hello adventurers! ^w^

After data loss and finding out my backup system hasn't been working for a while I managed to wrap up work on the sprites for the slime enemy.

Luckily I could use some of the Picarto recordings to recreate most of the work I had lost. -_-~*

We've now gotten a business account for Dropbox and threw all our asset work in there, alongside our Git system for the code.

The slime sprite has 82 frames for the normal gameplay animations and a whopping 182 frames for the sex act.

For reference, the kobold sex animation consists of only 82 frames altogether!

I needed all those frames to give the gooey texture and jiggliness the detail it deserves! I really hope you're all going to like the little raspberry boyfriend. ^-^

On the coding side of things, Null wrapped up most work on the new melee combat system. We can give actors a bunch of hit boxes and hurt boxes now. Also running into an enemy does not automatically hurt you anymore, unless they are actively attacking you. We think this is going to make melee combat more fair and more fun. Also attacks now can have freeze frames, which makes fighting feel much more satisfying. ^w^

Going forward, Null will write the AI for the slime and making him come to life and I'll focus on sketching out more concepts for new enemies and areas.

If you have ideas or wishes for enemies, feel free to send them to me or share them in the Discord community! I'll be collecting them together with our own ideas, and put up a bunch for voting. ^w^
