What acoustic guitar do you use Jack?

I've been saying since baby hotline came out on your youtube channel that I wanted a full version, and I didn't know it was out there until I saw a comment on the video that said that it was. If you advertised this as being available in the description of the video or something I think a lotta people would be interested in it. Just a thought, I want as many people to hear this beautiful song, love ya work bud.

I was so jealous when I saw this got extended and I wasn't a patron... Well, guess what, you made me into one!

Literally. You added upon my flesh until I was a patron. Please make sure you take it back.

I recently discovered you with the video 'Cooking With Abigail'. Naturally watched more. Then came across 'Baby Hotline'. Then wished there was a full track version. Then learned there IS a full track version, hence why I'm here. I'm working on a book called 'The Melophile's Compendium of Music Worth Listening To' which encompasses the best of the best. The music industry is falling apart and people still protect it, which frustrates me so much as it allows "artists" to be ever more lazy. Thus, I'm taking steps to strike back at that and give spotlight to true talent, be they unknown or already incredibly well known. This track really confused the shit out of me and was left disappointed with it, but kept listening to it over and over and grew to really appreciate it. It's an absolute oddball track, but so wonderfully crafted that I now firmly believe it deserves a place in my book. Today, decided to write out the segment for your track. With how bizarre the track is, as well as how hard it is to figure out what the lyrics are, I feel like I may have missed the mark when interpreting the song. Mainly, just want to share what I've written about it, but would also appreciate if you could rectify me if I happen to be wrong. Also wondering: when do you plan to put this track on Spotify? I'd like to add it to my playlist for my book, which I'll make available for everyone. _______________________________________________________ Baby Hotline Jack Stauber Undeniably the strangest track you may ever come across, and the decision of whether or not it’s something that’s worth listening to is an extremely difficult one to make. A track that requires many, many listens to even begin to understand it in any way, it demands a great level of patience to truly appreciate the schizophrenic mentality splashed across five minutes of constant flicking between contrasting emotions which essentially, and beautifully encapsulates a broken man trying, and failing, to keep himself together following a breakup. He even goes as far as to pretend everything is fine as he laughs manically whilst jauntily proclaiming, “I feel so good. I don’t even think about it,” before murmuring to himself, “Oh, you know I don’t.” Proceeding to break apart entirely, he wordlessly sings off tune in a drunken haze to a trashy guitar melody and applause, which snaps to a solitary unanswered phone call. It brings the question to mind: what happened to him? Perhaps the gunshots of white noise were used as a sly and malicious foreshadow, or simply used to highlight the erratic nature of his own mind. Starting off bright and catchy with breezy synths and playfully bouncy beats, it’s a track that takes you off guard as it delves into multiple tangents which feel disjointed and lacking cohesion; thus, this can easily be written off as plain weird. Despite its goofiness, it still manages to hold a subtle sinister undertone that, once understood, it’s easy to take that goofiness much more seriously to a disturbing level. It’s a true test of patience, but one truly worth taking.

Best of his work 😇

just realizing now that shop EP art is directly taken from the image above. Pretty neat to see an HD version of one of his clay puppets.
