Hello again! I have quite a few things to discuss in today’s post, so let’s get started!

First, let’s talk about an idea I’ve been sitting on for a while. Since I started the channel and began to work through some expected and unexpected challenges, and I soon began to take the approach of working on one video at a time whenever I had the spare time. Quality has always been important to me, so I’m not afraid to take my time and make sure things are done to the best of my ability. That certainly won’t change, but I’ve been playing with the idea of changing my approach somewhat.

A big goal of mine has been, since the beginning of the channel, to deliver consistent, high quality releases. This of course means taking that time to get everything up to the level of quality necessary, but delivering video releases consistently isn’t possible by working on one video at a time with my current schedule and honestly hasn’t been possible from the very beginning. However, I think I can accomplish upload consistency by creating a buffer of videos — finishing multiple and scheduling them for release on specific days. As a consequence, there will a longer wait for the next big video release just this once, but I think it will be worth it for consistent releases from the next upload forward.

A buffer would be beneficial in so many ways! I could deliver videos at specific times on specific days (I’m shooting for at least one a week), so viewers will know when to expect uploads and will be more likely to tune in. Along with this, knowing I have multiple videos lined up will lift a huge weight off of my shoulders in the event I couldn’t work on the channel for a period of time. Finally, I could spend the extra time keeping the buffer intact and advertising the channel, something I know it needs in order to grow.

My question for you is: what do you think? Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Do you think the longer wait in the present is worth consistent releases in the future? I would love to hear your thoughts!

I’ll be sure to keep you updated on the situation and my progress on the buffer! For now, I want to thank you again for your support! It means the world to me and I feel more excited than ever for the future of the channel.
