I like these social media signals. It is a good guide as to who is afflicted by whatever popular political / social campaign is going on at the moment. . KONY2012 allowed me to nearly trim my follows in half. Good stuff, don't discourage it, you will wreck my hustle. Also, I am thinking of leaving IG, but its the last one I got... i too am cowardly in that way, for now.

1.Return to community policing. Majority of departments have no idea who they are dealing with in a given neighborhood or who the bad actors are. 2. Decriminalize drugs. No more SWAT teams acting on no-knock warrants and shooting dogs and giving your grandpa a heart attack.

Love episodes where Dasha is the top.

For many Black people, our lives are like looking down the barrel of a gun and showing up in force screaming for change we feel is our only defense. When I was Elementary school age, my Mom sat me down and gave me "The Talk". As a kid, I couldn't grasp what she was saying but seeing how sad it made her burned it in my mind. She told me how important it was to be respectful and compliant to the police so I won't get in trouble, "You mean the guys who give me baseball cards? Why would they be mad at me?" I didn't understand but I was getting older, not much older but for a Black kid to be considered dangerous, it starts young. We even had a name for it "I'm already suspect." I have a heart attack every time a cop follows me too close and for too long. I tense up around good-ol-boy all-American types because I never know if today's the day they decide to dumb all their hardships on me because of my skin. I could go on and on but I'm a VERY lucky one. I've heard horror stories that would drive a normal person insane. The protest to many Black people across the country is another attempt to inch our way up the ladder and achieve meaningful change like those who came before us. There will always be opportunists and hangers-on that advertently or inadvertently pull us down but it comes with the territory. I appreciate your attempt to cover the protest from another angle but please, try to see it as more than just people who are going quarantine stir-crazy and just need something to do.

Anyone else having audio issues with this episode? It keeps cutting out every few minutes and when I tried downloading it cuts off after a few minutes.

What was that quote about focusing on the small things that bring us joy or something? I liked that.

Red Scare is the final thread that holds my tattered sanity together. God bless you for this episode.

Great conversation, though as the subreddit evolves into a racist, pro cop, alt-right circlejerk I wish there was a direct and clear stance taken on the issues.

I'd love for you guys to have Candace Owens on the pod. It could be a very interesting discourse. https://twitter.com/RealCandaceO/status/1268280610818101248?s=20
