For what time I have spent thinking about metoo, the thing that always stuck out to me is the almost total lack of discussions about kids. Like I am def tinfoil hat, but I always assumed there was a lot of kid diddling going on in hollywood. Like when I ever saw something like "How success destroyed X child actor/singer" I always felt like that is some bullshit on it's face. What is more likely, that some kid gets their every wish granted, loads of money, and celebrity and that makes them flame out OR they are getting passed around like a party favor for heavy petting sessions and no one is there to help them understand that is not normal, or protect them. Like I remember vaguely the whole Britney flame out and was like "Dude they dressed her up in red vinyl catsuits as a teenager, you don't think there is more to the story than just 'fame destroys some people'?" idk, love you guise.
