I’m also working on the sound for the beam, yesterday I spent 8 hours, but I still didn’t achieve a continuous sound, there were many difficulties because there was a small pause on the repeat, this is not critical for music, but it is critical for the sound of the beam. After many attempts, I managed to loop the sound, but I can’t stop it when the shooting stops, in general I try different probabilities, there is even an idea for the most extreme case, if after long attempts I can’t stop the sound flow to the beam, then I will make 2 sound flows with zero volume, they will always sound from the very start of the game, but I will give them volume only at the moment the beam is fired, I'm sure it will work, but this idea is in the most extreme case, I'll try a little more to find other options.
