Brody, but Compact (Patreon)

Recently I got into drawing some more toonish versions of characters and this was the result. I don't know why I chose Brody to be one of the first for this experiment... I've just been feeling his energy a bit lately. One of my major favorite types for fictional dudes is definitely the "campus star football player who's pretty but huge and kind of terrifying" one of the many flavors of football player that I enjoy... and it describes Brody very well.

Brody is an interesting one where I often fall back on calling him 'dumb', but I don't think that's entirely accurate. Much like Kody, Brody is simply unmotivated academically. He's sharp enough to function and know how to get what he wants, and he spends a lot of time in front of the mirror in the morning spiking his hair just right... I feel like so few of my characters are truly just 'dumb', and I want to describe them a bit more accurately.
