Tremane (early concept sketches) (Patreon)

The first drawing I did of Tremane was in the Wolfeller lineage map... and he was bearded there. For a while, I assumed this would be how he looked officially, the entire time, but have decided since then that it would be when he's older. Since then, I've elaborated a lot more on what I want to do with him and his story, as you've seen here thus far. His younger self is smooth faced, like he is here... but I've since refined his design further and added that star marking. This is pretty mucht he middle of the design process.

I wanted his union uniform to be a part of his look, but of course I had to fuck with it a bit and make it interesting... but in doing so, there were some missteps. I think the two pairs of wings is a bit much - not necessarily because there's so many of them, but the configuration just didn't sit right with me. I was also torn on his hair color, but I'm so glad I didn't go with brunette. It also doesn't just really fit with the Wolfellers, prior to Troy's sons... a couple of which inherit their mother's brown fur.

Overall I'm very happy with how Tremane has come along since this, I think its vastly superior to some of the decisions I was making here... but I love looking back on the process.
