some more world building stuff. A character that I haven't drawn since, idk, 2018, makes a reappearance here, repurposed for a new role. I think since I created "Thanatos" back then, I've got more of a gasp on storytelling/what I want to accomplish with storytelling, and I have a better idea of what to do with him. In this new role he is the head of the guild that focuses on investigating the supernatural, enlisting the aid of Trenton and the young Spritz (seen in that comic from last week).

He was always intended to be immortal, though here I finally have more of an understanding as to what his character is like. He's been alive far longer than the earliest recorded Wolfeller (Tremane) and is still alive in current time, outliving the first head of Gulo Corp as well. While Tremane developed a fondness for the stoat over time, it's been more difficult for him to connect with his son and grandson... partially because he doesn't want to intervene in their personal lives, but also because the wolves themselves are a bit standoffish toward him. Still, Trenton has a degree of respect for him and the guild deep down, thus why he agrees to help so much.

This comic is really just a bunch of babble about funding and concerns about his own immortality, it's not the most interesting thing to most I'd assume because this is still a relatively unestablished character and it doesn't feature a Wolfeller in the flesh, but I think its an interesting glimpse into some of the inner workings beneath the surface.
