tre's great grandpa trevor - where he gets his name from - is still alive and kicking and pretty spry, pushing 80. I've drawn his younger self once before over here but only some quick busts I think of his older iteration have shown up in a few sketchdumps and the like. well here he is again, in full form. 

he and travis are very close. they always have been, being his grandpa's favorite when he was growing up. of course trevor loves all of his grandchildren but travis was always his golden boy. always excelling academically and athletically, it's not hard to see why he might've been so proud, but there was also an emotional connection there that went deep. when the two get together now they like to poke fun at trent's less intelligent decisions he made when younger - it's all just teasing of course - and is sort of trevor's weird way of showing affection to his oldest grandson.
