October 2023 Sketches 4 - Steve Burnside (Resident Evil) (Patreon)

Here's a picture featuring Steve Burnside from the Resident Evil series. The idea was suggested by PipthePuffin.

"Firstly, I'll give some love to some less well-known Resident Evil boys - Steve from Code Veronica and Piers from Resident Evil 6. I've never played either game but I know they both get infected in the games they're playable in and turn into monsters. A terrible fate for both of them - I'm sure they'd much prefer getting huge instead.  They never interact so it probably makes sense to do only one of them instead of having them both in the same sketch (whichever your prefer), unless you think that would work better."

After unfortunate events, Steve ended up being mutated by a virus. After being taken down, he was sent to a research facility if they could do anything to save him.

...And they did! After months of arduous research, they were able to make a formula to heal the mutation, while also keeping the physical prowess that the infection gave to him. All seemed to be going good...TOO good.

Until one of the scientists brought up that with this individual having this formula, they could try giving him the virus and see what happens...

And so they brought him in a chamber, deciding to collaborate, since he felt it was the least he could do for them. At first it was small doses, and none of them seemed to have any effect. Soon they started giving him full glasses of the liquid version of the virus...And something DID happen. The already big Steve started pulsating bigger with this dose, but didn't have any shows of mutation, besides his physique becoming bulkier and bigger...Seems like the virus would only fortify him!

THe scientists let their curiosity loose, as each trial increased the dosis, only for Steve to become bigger with each session. At some point deciding to fill the whole chamber with the virus! Steve greedily shoving handfuls of the liquid into his mouth, seeming to have developed quite the liking to this experiments...and his increasingly huge body. THe last session was about to end, as they shut the pumps down...but Steve didn't have enough,as he broke the pipes, and kept on drinking more of the green liquid! The scientists couldn't do anything, as they saw their subject greedily shove whole pipes into his mouth, the constant stream of liquid making his mass expand at a violently fast rate, the chamber filling up more and more by Steve's sheer heft.

He might be human alright, but they might have made a more dangerous monster than any mutant they've seen before...
