Here's a sequence featuring Joshua from The World Ends with You. The idea was suggested by PipthePuffin.

"Sho Minamimoto can't stand the thought of his rival being so big and buff and makes a special size drain raygun to make Joshua shrink and Sho grow. Joshua being who he is though, he just smirks when he's shot and reverses the effect so that he grows even bigger and Sho shrinks down into nothing!"

Seeing how Joshua was flaunting his new size all over the city, Sho couldn't stand it! He was the taller, stronger one! So it was about time this Joshua guy got humbled...

With the power bestowed as a reaper, he built a gun that was able not only to shrink others, but absorb the size and power of others! THat way Sho was going to become the biggest, baddest reaper in the world!

He finally "cornered" Joshua (Even though it was mostly the opposite) in an alley, pointing his gun at the bigger young man...who defiantly welcomed the impact. Not knowing, Sho didn't notice that Joshua tampered with his gun in the last second...which led to have the opposite offect!

Instead of draining the size and power of the victim, the gun BESTOWED the size and power of the user to the person who's shot!...So now, Sho not only has become as scrawny as the other guys out there, but now he had to deal with an even BIGGER Joshua, whose ego became just as big as his body, and even though things played in his favor, he was still going to make sure Sho paid back for trying to shrink him down...
