August 2023 Sketches 3 - Kaidou Shun (The Disastrous Life of Saiki K) (Patreon)

Here's a picture featuring Kaidou Shun from The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. The idea was suggested by Character Cottage.

"Kaidou Shun from Saiki-k at one point became determined to start working out and getting fit like Hairo for his battle against Dark Reunion. Unfortunately, he had no idea how to work out and no proper dedication. Usually it'd be best for Saiki to just ignore it, but Kaidou was being so defeated it was more annoying to have to hear and deal with that. So Saiki gave Kaidou's body a boost so it would get better results from working out. Little did Saiki know how addicted to working out Kaidou would get at that point and how it would boost his adorable ego."

Saiki thought that a small, defeatist Kaidou was annoying enough, reason why he gave Kaidou his new, growing abilities...But now he has to deal with with a massive, growing Kaidou, who's gotten obsessed to train at any moment he can, just to get stronger, his body growing huge along with his ego. 

What's worse is, that he won't leave Saiki alone anymore, Kaidou saying that he can't train alone, he has to train with his "partner" at his side...so even when they're studying at the library, or hanging out at one of the two's home...Kaidou finds a way to keep training and grow bigger....more than once Kaidou emptying Saiki's refrigerator to fuel his training, Saiki sometimes having to refill it with his powers to satiate Kaidou's increasing hunger.(Except for Saiki's Coffee Jelly, he strictly instructed Kaidou to never touch it)

Saiki though, he's already used to really outlandish things out there, so he kinda doesn't mind. As long as he doesnt get in the way of his novels or his jelly, all's good.
